Founded by architect Joseph May, our practice was established to create a more refined and streamlined approach to bespoke architecture. After years working across architecture and project management, Joseph recognised the common issues that often impact the traditional delivery model including cost clarity, miscommunication, delays, fragmented coordination, and a disconnect between bespoke high quality design and execution. Joseph May Design was built to offer a more considered alternative.

With over a decade of industry experience, dual registration as an Architect in QLD and NSW, and a strong project-focused background, Joseph brings a practical and highly considered approach to every project. Through integrated architecture, interior design, and project management services across the Gold Coast, South-East Queensland, and Northern New South Wales, we tailor each engagement to suit the unique scope, complexity, and goals of the project, creating a process that feels clear, collaborative, and seamless from beginning to end.
